From research question to platform requirements

Motion & balance

Which motions are required? Define control access, test conditions and operating space.

Perception & learning

What data does your project need? Review sensors, interfaces and computing capacity.

Manipulation & interaction

Which objects will be handled? Review hand type, payload, motion range and optional equipment.

These are research planning directions, not guaranteed ready-to-use functions for every edition.

Before choosing a research platform

Choose the edition, not just the form.

For G1, the EDU edition supports secondary development; the standard edition does not list that access in the manufacturer’s comparison. EDU does not mean every accessory is included.
